Thursday we started off with a big bang. PII Gamblers! We got it! I could not believe it. PI Standard was good but Maggie will not go down on the table. We nailed PII Pairs but our partner blew it for us. I had a good feeling about Snooker, but Maggie decided to do her own opening and I was sure we were going to be whistled so I looked at the judge who just looked back. Gad! I had to go out to a jump to complete the 7 combination! We were still in the game, but the time ran out on us. Last run was PI jumpers and Maggie nailed it.
Friday was a total bust except for PI Jumpers. I didn't have my act together to get the gamble. Maggie wouldn't go down on the table. Our pairs partner blew it for us again.
Saturday Frank came with us. First run was PI Jumpers and Maggie shone. Seven seconds under time. That was our title in three days. PII Snooker was next and we did the entire closing! Our pairs partner blew it again for us. Three days of sucky partners. Maggie got into a perpetual A frame loop in Gamblers and we didn't even get to the gamble before the whistle blew. Last run of the weekend was Standard and still no table. Her weaves are getting better though.
I had table troubles with Shane for a long time and it just went away. I know it's something I'm doing but I haven't a clue. Maybe I'm trying too hard. I'm so glad that AKC took the table performance out of the equation.

I really didn't think that Maggie was going to have the ability to be successful in USDAA, so I was pleasantly surprised this weekend. Maggie is only 4 years old, so we have lots of time ahead of us. We'll just keep trying.
Used Maggie's bone to lure her into position.
She does not like to pose for pictures.
