Today's Going to be a Good Good Day

Today, Maggie walked like a regular dog. Minimal sniffing. No treats needed. I smiled the entire way. This must be what everyone else experiences. Pure joy.

Back to the house. Shane came to me without any luring. We walked without any reactivity. He's learning to come to my side for a treat. Again, smiles the entire time.

Agility practice after lunch. Maggie is doing weaves without luring. Had an epiphany. I always toss the Frisbee when Shane finishes a sequence. I am teaching him to run away from me at the end of a run! DUH. I started making him come to me for his Frisbee. I started to get excited about maybe attempting a trial in a few months. How will I know when we are ready?

Lastly, Maggie made her 5th trip in the car tonight without puking! Agility class was great. I'm really excited about her.
