Wiener Palooza

Invited Ragni's and Debbie's wiener brigades over for a play date with Shane. Seven wieners and a sheltie. Oh My! They all ran amuck in the backyard sniffing every nook and cranny. Lost a few wieners under the deck. I know something is living under there. Lost Peanut out of the yard completely. Didn't realize our fence was not weinerproof. I got nervous that they kept digging at a gap under the fence, so we blocked it off, not realizing that Peanut had already gotten out. He was hanging around the front yard, so I was able to catch him. What a scare.

Everyone had a great time. Shane tried unsuccessfully to get Charlie Tuna to play with him. Charlie was just too cool. Weiner, poor old girl, kept falling off the deck. The rosemary bushes caught her on the big fall. I was unable to get any good video as Shane was unable to herd them all together, but here's a brief glimpse into the pandemonium.

It did my heart good to see Shane so calm and happy around so many crazy dogs. He was so pooped after the party and I hear the wieners were as well. We've got to do this more often.
