I have four weekends of agility coming up in April and this past weekend was my last agility-free weekend and what did I do? Watch the freakin' AKC Nationals on my PC for 3 days.
Saturday, Shane and I took a real long walk down to the community center for Pet Day. It was so cold and windy that they moved it all inside to a tiny room. Very disappointing. Got to play with some of the shelties I've seen online at Sheltie Rescue. No agility prospects sorry to say. The best part was our walk down a very busy street with minimal reactivity. Shane has come such a long way. Home to my streaming video of the Nationals.
Sunday, Shane lets us sleep in. He is such a different dog than the Blues Brothers. Another long wonderful walk. Off to Home Depot for mulch and my car dies. I had taken it to the shop on Friday for a check up in preparation for chauferring the Weiner Brigade to McKinney this coming weekend. Apparently, they failed to check my battery. At least the day was beautiful as we waited in the Home Depot parking lot. A lot of people offered to help us, but we had AAA on the way. One man had a cracked windshield and a lot of damage from the hail storm and he still offered to help us. Got to love Texas.
