At Shane's first AKC show at 12 inches, we did pretty well. On Friday afternoon, Shane got qualifying runs in both Novice Preferred Standard and Jumpers. Neither Q was clean, but it was still fabulous. Shane got his contacts, kept all the bars up, and did the table! Major! Home to celebrate. Maybe a little too much....
Saturday I was in a fog from our wonderful Friday evening and forgot to drink my third cup of coffee. We started our Jumpers run and I went one way while Shane went the other. He is so good at making up his own courses. We did manage another Q in Standard. Two in a row. Unreal.
Sunday Shane was nuts. Not sure what happened, but he flew off the teeter and knocked bars. Maybe three days is too much? We did lose our buffer dog between Shane and Ego. Ego was barking and got Shane barking too. Our buffer dog gave us time to calm down. Oh well. Still, all in all, not a bad weekend.

I have always meant to capture Shane's homecoming ritual in the backyard. Every time he comes home from a show he runs out to bark at the lizards on the trees and then runs around the yard rolling in the grass. I didn't get the lizard attack, but I did capture the rolling.
