So Shane has been having problems jumping. I moved him down to 12 inches for a while until he looses a few pounds. I've been told that he's absolutely huge, but I find that difficult to believe. I think maybe 3 pounds will do the trick. One trainer joked, I think, that she would throw her back out if she lifted him. Come on. She also said he's out of shape because he's panting after our run. He pants when he is still. He's excited! That shit just makes me mad. Shane is walked twice daily for at least 45 minutes each walk. We play Frisbee at least 3 times a day and practice agility. He goes to 3 agility classes each week. Out of shape? I think not. He's 15 inches and 25 pounds. I'm trying to get him to 22 pounds. We are not fat nor out of shape.
So, I took him to a chiropractor today and discovered a stuck hip. He got an adjustment and a massage. He's resting now, but I think we may have started on our path back to competition. Shane is going to get more of this type of treatment. He's a star.
