Woody's ACTH Simulation test came back barely positive. The vet thinks it's either a false positive or the beginnings of Cushings. He recommended not doing anything until he started showing signs of increased water intake. Our new homeopathic vet gave Woody some herbs for his liver and discovered that he has pain in his hips. Woody has always been a little stiff back there. She asked if he showed short bursts of energy and then stopped. Wow. That is exactly what he does. She wanted to wait for his Cushings test to proceed with treating his pain.
Shane got a good going over as well. She thinks he may have injured his flexor muscles in his forearm when he slipped. Couldn't find anything else. She said Shane was very stoic. Right on the money. Shane also got an adjustment! I was always worried about how he would handle a massage, but he did great. We will probably go back every so often to get adjusted. Oh, and she didn't think Shane was fat! We're still a diet anyway.
