Woody's ultrasound Friday revealed an enlarged liver and nodules on his spleen. We are going in for testing for Cushings tomorrow. I also have an appointment with a homeopathic vet on Wednesday. It's all so ironic because Woody seems more healthy now than he's ever been. His appetite is good and he plays more than ever with me. I asked for the blood tests at his physical last week because of his liver history. Glad I did. If it is Cushings, maybe we caught it in time and can get him on meds.
Besides researching Cushings over the weekend, I got to watch videos of Shane's dad, Keen, at the AKC World Team Tryouts. Keen did very well, but did not make the team, nor did his uncle, Sizzle, who came in third overall. It was so educational to watch all the runs, and I plan to study them closely.
Woody, you have to stick around for awhile.
