Gamblin' Gal

I wanted to get Maggie measured officially, so I entered her in the USDAA trial this past weekend. She is still spooked on the contact obstacles, so I entered her in Jumpers and Gamblers, which is a game where you can choose what obstacles to perform. I figured we would nail Jumpers and just play around in Gamblers.

Sunday, Maggie was clean in Jumpers, but 3.97 seconds too slow. In Gamblers, I mistakenly put her on the teeter and she froze. Buzzer sounds, so we head to the Gamble, and she nails it! If only I had done the weave poles again instead of the teeter.....

Monday, Gamblers was first thing in the morning. Right after the weave poles, the buzzer sounds and we head to the Gamble. Maggie is flying and she nails it! Who would have thought!

Maggie's First USDAA Q in Gamblers

Maggie's Jumpers run on Monday was a total sniff fest, so we did not qualify. Shane was a mess all weekend. We had a few good moments and we will work on our start line at the next show.

Maggie May 1st and Q in Gamblers!
