Sunday, one of the students didn't have any dog treats, so he brought MEATLOAF! Maggie was lost to me. She would have followed Meatloaf Man anywhere. Reminded me of Liver Man back in Phoenix. He gave Woody some homemade liver treats at agility class one day and you could just see the little hearts flowing out of Woody's eyes. I had to ask him to go hide because Woody would leave the course to run up to him. I tried to make the treats to his recipe, but they just weren't the same.
Maggie is now an expert with Touch and Leave it. Our stays are still very iffy, but she just can't contain her joy. She is truly a changed dog and I look so forward to continuing her training.
