Day care did not poop her out. She has an amazing amount of energy. So, off to class we go.
Upon arrival, she was pretty scared of everything. We spent some time outside of the field listening to the instructor, so Maggie had plenty of time to sniff at the fence where I'm sure hundreds of dogs have peed. Instructor passes out the clickers and wouldn't you know it, Maggie is terrified of the click. So it goes into my pocket and we use our verbal click, which she's used to. Waiting for the instructor to give me a hard time...
Into the field for targeting. Piece of cake. No? Well, that pooped me out. Acting like a fool to get Maggie to pay attention to me is hard work.
As the evening progressed, Maggie became more and more comfortable. I can tell I'm going to have to watch her closely. Back home, Maggie made me play fetch for about 45 minutes before she finally settled down. That girl needs a job.
