Learning about Shane. Since we are taking some time off from competition, I am using the time to learn about Shane. I have learned that he tends to turn his head to look back if I am behind him and he doesn't know where to go. He does much better with his sit/stays when he is a little tired. If I am too close to him, he pops out of the weaves. He does very well working away from me. The most upsetting thing I've learned is that I need to run much faster. Got to get this old fat butt moving.
We have progressed to 12 inch jumps and today he did a triple! I have until Friday to decide if we are pulling out of our local show. It's killing me because the show is in Austin and it's cheap.
The other night, I awoke about 2 am, and there was Shane staring at me. He was laying next to Frank with his head on Frank's pillow. Not sure if he was trying to take Frank's place or he just wanted to be like us. Whatever the reason, if there even is one, it was just the cutest thing ever.
