My life was shortened today I'm sure. Shane has been having diarrhea since Sunday night. He got was pooping and then barking to go out. Not quite what I had taught him. Two nights of accidents in the living room. We switched to a rice and chicken diet for a few days and things seemed OK. Switched back to regular food last night. Shane got me out of bed three times to go outside. At least this time he barked and then pooped. I must have picked up 5 pounds of poop today.
To top things off this morning, Woody threw up quite a few times. Wasn't interested in his breakfast, treats, or even deli turkey. Shades of Jake, so I got them into the vet at noon.
Shane is on flagyl and doing fine. Woody got a shot for his nausea and is a little more perky. The vet thinks the bag of food was bad. Since it's raw, could be. I threw it out to be sure. We'll see how things go tonight. Everyone will be in lock down so I can monitor.
It's odd how things can be so perfect one day and the next day things are in the shit. Boys are resting. I had two vodka tonics, so I hope to rest as well.
