So my foot was feeling much better last week, so I went to agility class Thursday morning. I stretched and warmed up, but I still felt twinges when I ran. I had loaded Shane up on calming herbs and I thought he did very well with the jumping. We crashed in the broad jump and he barely made it over the triple, which was mistakenly set for 20 inches instead of 16. Shane seemed fine until we got home and then he started limping on his right front leg. He wouldn't even put weight on it. I couldn't get a vet appointment, so I decided to ice his leg, crate him for the rest of the day, and then see how it was in the morning. Meanwhile, my left foot started to hurt, but not as badly as it had last week after class. I iced my foot and rested as well. So here we are, total losers both limping around the house.
Next day, Friday, Shane is still limping but not as badly. I iced his leg again and made him rest. I did the same with my foot. We are both still limping, but doing better. Saturday, Shane is fine. I take him for a short walk, and he is definitely perky. Youth. I'm still limping. He is still going to take it easy this week as am I.
