Drove up to McKinney Friday afternoon. Reports of potential massive traffic tie-ups due to some football game were on the TV all morning. I had maps of alternate routes, but decided at the last minute to go the regular way. No traffic at all until we hit Dallas at rush-hour.
Couldn't set up Friday at all, so we got up early Saturday to get to the site at 6:30 am. Starbucks wasn't even open. I was hurting.
Woody did his usual shenanigan's on the chute fabric. A training buddy gave me some lavender oil to put on his nose, and I think it helped, but not sure. He didn't spend very long on the fabric Saturday, and Sunday, he didn't get caught in the chute at all. We didn't Q all weekend.
Shane's first run Saturday was JWW and we got 2nd place. We missed the weave pole entrance, which ate up a bit of time. He's averaging 3.2-3.3 yps, and that's with a bunch of mess ups. In STD, he was a train wreck. Wouldn't get on the table, jumped off the teeter. Did the same thing on Sunday. We would have Q'd in JWW, but he knocked the double jump. He has a habit of jumping too early when he's really excited.
