Last trial at Triple Crown. I'll never run Shane there, and this is the last one before I begin showing him. Woody is entered as he is already ruined from the scary slippery floor. Friday, he got 1st and Q in ExAP JWW easily. Not bad considering we haven't practiced for 3 weeks due to all the rain. Today, however, I blew it big time. Didn't slow down for his weave entry and he missed. Didn't slow down for his dog walk and he jumped off. Oh well. There is always tomorrow.
Caught Shane out in the backyard doing the teeter all by himself. He found his spot though, sniffing around for a treat as if one would magically appear. What a sweetheart.
Saw a few sheltie puppies at the show who appeared on the scene about the same time that I acquired Shane. They'll be in the 12 inch group, so no competition to worry about. They are just a cute as cute can be. I'm going to have to watch Novice tomorrow so I can size up Shane's competition for next month.
